I HAVE A ZIPPER ISSUE, WHAT SHOULD I DO?Updated 8 months ago
Here at DRI DUCK, we are committed to ensuring the quality of all products ordered through driduck.com. This includes providing best-in-class YKK zippers for our cotton canvas outerwear. However, from time to time, even the best can fail.
Please contact us using the email used to place your order and provide us with more details.
This is what must be provided.
- Order Number
- Product name and size
- Images where the flaw can be seen clearly
Once we receive all the images required, we will evaluate the incident and do our best to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
What DRI DUCK Jackets we can offer replacement zippers for.
We are happy to address zipper issues with replacement zipper sliders or full zippers, as indicated, for our canvas workwear styles including the following:
- Cheyenne
- Maverick
- Force Bomber
- Quest (top slider only)
- Laramie
- Endeavor
- Yellowstone
- Renegade
- Yukon Flex (top slider only)
- Trek Vest
- Horizon
- Laredo
- Rambler
*Unfortunately, we do not have zipper parts or repair for our other products including GrizzlyTec, DDX, softshells, rainwear, fleece, or bags. Kindly contact us regarding your issue and we will work to resolve it as quickly as possible.
Some issues can be easily solved with a new slider, or you may want a new zipper installed by your local tailor (example missing teeth).
How do I replace by zipper slider?
- Locate the zipper stopper/metal clip at the top of the zipper on the side that hold the slider.
- Use a pair of small pliers to carefully unbend and remove the metal clip on the top of the zipper and set aside.
- Slide the old slider up and off the zipper, and thread the new slider on, making sure it’s right side up.
- Reattach the top stopper/metal clip.
